From 12th to 20th September 2026, Venice, Murano and Mestre will celebrate the tenth edition of The Venice Glass Week with over 200 events dedicated to the art of glass: exhibitions, installations, guided tours, workshops, open furnaces, talks and special initiatives, most of them free of charge.
Among the main highlights is Murano Illumina il Mondo, which from 13th September to 1st November 2026 will bring twelve new artist-designed chandeliers, created in collaboration with Murano glass furnaces, beneath the Procuratie Vecchie in St Mark’s Square.
The two group exhibitions also return: The Venice Glass Week HUB by Generali, hosted for the first time at Palazzo Morosini, featuring more than 50 international artists and designers, and The Venice Glass Week HUB Under35 at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Galleria di Piazza San Marco, showcasing 40 emerging young creatives.
