The Venice Glass Week is an international festival founded in 2017 to celebrate, support and promote the art of glassmaking: the artistic and economic activity for which the Lagoon City of Venice has been renowned around the world for over 1,000 years. The eighth edition of the festival will take place from 14th – 22nd September 2024.
The seventh edition, #TheArtOfFire, took place from 9th – 17th September 2023 and was attended by a record number of 152,000 visitors from Italy and abroad. The programme featured over 250 events dedicated to artistic glass, including exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, demonstrations, conferences, family activities and more, organised by over 200 participating organisations, institutions and individuals in 140 different venues around Venice, Murano and Mestre.
