“The Venice Glass Week and the Murano Glass District”: the Observatory by Banca Ifis

During the Press Conference on Wednesday 9th September, the Observatory “The Venice Glass Week and the Murano Glass District” was presented. The Study, conducted by Banca Ifis, one of the event’s sponsors, analyses Murano’s current role as a production and cultural district of international significance, exploring the evolution of the contemporary glass industry and the contribution of The Venice Glass Week as a development platform for the sector, as well as the digital reputation of Murano glass in international markets.

The Observatory highlights how the festival contributes to strengthening the competitiveness and international visibility of glass, fostering new opportunities for networking, promotion and growth across the entire industry, with growing interest from international markets, particularly English-speaking countries.
