Between 1974 and 1976, the increased production demand for glass items for the table and furnishings pushed Carlo Moretti to propose an enormously successful product, Marble, on which color predominates. The technique, which allows streaks on a transparent crystal base and an opaque effect with paste coloring to be obtained economically and quickly, represents an important process innovation.
