The exhibition "Floating Islands" showcases the fascinating Japanese art of ikebana created by Mario Sonsini, a master from the prestigious Sogetsu school in Tokyo, and his student Cristina Stifanic, a visual artist. Their floral compositions will be displayed in elegant artistic vases crafted by Davide Salvadore, a renowned glass master from Murano. The natural setting for this exhibition is the enchanting private garden of Palazzo Gradenigo, overlooking the Rio Marin in Venice. Each ikebana composition is conceived as an island, an autonomous and perfect world floating on its glass vase, evoking the landscape of the Venetian lagoon. Lucio Bubacco, another legend from Murano, will present two wine glasses inspired by Diabolik and Eva Kant.
