On the occasion of Franco Beraldo’s eightieth birthday and in conjunction with The Venice Glass Week 2024, the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation will host an anthological exhibition of the Venetian artist in the halls of Palazzetto Tito in Venice, in recognition of his manifold and vital creativity.
After the numerous encounters that occurred during his artistic activity, the exhibition aims to enhance Beraldo’s research on glass in the Murano forge, a path initiated by the artist for over twenty years in his own laboratory and in the legendary furnaces known throughout the world.
The works are made through the techniques of blow-moulding, undercasting and glass melting.
The project includes works of various sizes, some from private collections, and involves paintings on canvas.
