61.5°N is the title of Dylan Katz's first solo show, inaugurating for the eighth edition of The Venice Glass Week, Curated by Costanza Longanesi Cattani, the exhibition at Olivolo, features Katz's Uncanny Ice signature sculptures, representing Finland's ice mass through glass, and unveils the new series Northern Windows which pays tribute to the colors and lights of the northern sky, created ad hoc for this show.

Dylan uses the language of glass to tell a story. Color, pattern, form, texture, transparency, opacity, light, and optics make up the vocabulary he weaves into his message. He states, this exhibition is not a call to arms in the fight against climate change, but a love letter written in glass. An appeal to our gentle side. A call to honor and preserve our beautiful home.
