Riccardo Todesco. Sakura, il ciliegio

Event organised by Riccardo Todesco

Riccardo Todesco’s work consists of a Japanese-style table, which features the coexistence of two materials: wood and glass. The entire design reflects the style of Japanese culture and culinary tradition. The title, Sakura in Japanese means "cherry blossom," a symbol of contrasts, ups and downs, and hope. The Murano glass objects are made by the artist.

Riccardo Todesco (b. Italy, 1997) is a Venetian artist who has been working in the glass industry since 2020. His love for the art of Murano glass was transmitted by his paternal grandfather. After obtaining his two degrees in Cultural Heritage and Economics and Commerce, he decided to found the company Riccardo Todesco Lab, which exclusively works with Murano glass and is based on the island itself.
