The Venice Glass Week will return from 12th to 20th September 2026 for its tenth edition

The Organising Committee of The Venice Glass Week has officially announced the dates of the tenth edition of the festival dedicated to artistic glass, which will take place from 12th to 20th September 2026.

The ninth edition – #TheMagicOfGlass – took place from 13th to 21st September 2025, attracting 165,000 visitors. The 9-day programme featured over 200 events organised by more than 300 participants, including exhibitions, installations, demonstrations, talks, tours, performances and more, held in 130 venues around Venice, Murano and Mestre.

The collective exhibitions The Venice Glass Week HUB and The Venice Glass Week HUB Under35, the festival’s central venues, showcased works by 50 established and mid-career artists and 30 young emerging artists, confirming the event’s key role in contemporary glass art.

The festival also hosted the award ceremonies for three important prizes: the fifth edition of the Premio Fondazione di Venezia per The Venice Glass Week, won by Giorgio Mastinu with the exhibition Ronan Bouroullec, Inchiostri; the Premio The Studio – Corning Museum Of Glass per The Venice Glass Week Hub Under35 , offering a residency at the prestigious Corning Museum of Glass in New York, awarded to Florian van Dalen and the Premio Arterìa per The Venice Glass Week HUB, awarded to Clare Belfrage for the work In The Glow Of Green, Collection.
