The Venice Glass Week celebrates its tenth anniversary with over 200 events

From 12th to 20th September 2026, Venice, Murano and Mestre will host the tenth edition of The Venice Glass Week, the international festival created to celebrate, support and promote the art of glassmaking. The ten-year milestone will be marked by the festival’s richest programme to date, featuring over 200 events, including exhibitions, installations, talks, guided tours, workshops and many other special initiatives.

The tenth edition will also see the presentation of the Observatory “The Venice Glass Week and the Murano Glass District”, a study carried out by Banca Ifis – one of the festival’s sponsors – to analyse Murano’s current role as a production and cultural district of international significance, and to explore the impact that the festival has had on the city and on the glass sector over the course of its first decade.
