Free guided tours of the HUBs and new activities for families: a celebration of artistic glass for Venice’s residents and visitors alike

There will be many new activities and initiatives in this year’s edition!  Each year The Venice Glass Week showcases the best of Italian and international glass, presenting a wide range of events for audiences of every kind: from collectors and scholars to enthusiasts and lovers of glass. This year the festival will offer The Venice Glass Week HUB Tours: daily guided tours of the two exhibition HUBs in Palazzo Loredan – created and sponsored by Nexa – Event & Travel Designers. Housed in the magnificent HQ of the Istituto Veneto di Scienze Lettere ed Arti in Campo Santo Stefano, the HUBs will host a series of glass works and installations by glass artists and designers from Italy and abroad, with a special section dedicated to artists aged under 35. Thanks to the new HUB tours, which will be offered free of charge, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the artists and works on display from professional guides.  In addition, The Venice Glass Week Tours by Nexa will also take place throughout the festival, enabling members of the public to join a series of expert-led tours around a selection of furnaces and workshops around Murano and Venice.  Meanwhile, a Kids Programme of activities for children and families will be organised and sponsored by MUVE Education.
