Vestige explores the boundary between presence and absence, inspired by light, shadow, and nature’s fleeting moments. Using fragile glass forms that often lose their original function, the artist questions how existence is perceived. Even without practical use, objects retain meaning through memory and experience. Through abstract shapes and vessel forms, we are invited to reflect on how absence can still hold profound presence.
Yuna Kim (South Korea, 1996) is a glass artist based in London, focusing on kiln-formed glass. Her delicate works capture the subtle
beauty of nature, light, and shadow, exploring the emotional space between presence and absence. She graduated with an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2024. Her emerging talent has been highlighted by the V&A Magazine’s 2025 “Ones to Watch” and the New Designers Selected Award in 2025.
