Wang Jingyun. Infection-Migration

Event organised by Wang Jingyun in collaboration with Zanetti Murano
Humans are like tumours and viruses on earth, infecting and damaging countless animals and plants.
These elephants become deformed and their asymmetrical feet begin to grow. Their bodies are full of death, pain and despair. They are twisted and unable to forage. The end of this migration is death.
It is also a response to the theme of this year's Venice Biennale 2022, 'The Milk of Dreams'.

Wang Jingyun (China, 1996) graduated from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. In 2022 he participated in the third edition of the "Artefici del Nostro tempo" competition, winning first prize for Glass design, and exhibits at the Venice Pavilion of the Venice Art Biennale'The Milk Of Dreams'. His work has been exhibited in France, Italy, Spain and China, he is currently studying and working in Venice as an artist-in-residence at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa.
