With Voyages, Ivan Baj translates his journeys into material and evocative collections, sustained by the typically Muranese ability to mould hot glass. Alien organisms and abstract fantasies, metallic metropolitan nightmares, cold space vessels, dark primitive rocks. Unique pieces that celebrate the ductility of glass as a meeting point between technique and tradition.

Ivan Baj (b. Italy, 1957) is a glass artist, founder and creative director of the brand Arcade since 1989. From Ivan's travels and encounters with places and people is born Voyages, a new personal project built around unique pieces, entirely hand modelled and mouth-blown in Murano by master glassblower Andrea Zilio. Ivan Baj lives and works in Sardinia.
