Mare Karina presents À Jour, a solo exhibition by artist Simona Pavoni, curated by Giulia Mariachiara Galiano and Costanza Longanesi Cattani. Conceived for the ninth edition of The Venice Glass Week, the show includes a trilogy of glass works, canvas pieces, a paper spatial intervention, and an organic carpet. Perforations and transparencies are crossed by light, unifying the elements. Pavoni’s practice explores corporeality and material sensitivity, creating immersive spaces where body and environment merge. The recurring hole evokes embroidery’s meditative rhythm. À Jour—French for both openwork and being up to date—captures the essence of a porous, temporal installation open to transformation.
