His research is based on the material reaction between glass and tin, observing the resistance, fusion and regeneration under temperature changes. The coefficient of expansion is the issue when casting two materials, it causes stress to crack glass. He tried many materials but none can be integrated with glass as well as tin. Different colours can appear from gold to silver depending on the atmosphere in the kiln.
