Tradition and uniqueness: the "Moretti red"

Red is one of the fundamental colours of the light spectrum. It is the colour of fire and danger, but also of the heart and love. In Venice, where roofs and buildings are red, a particular shade of red has identified Carlo Moretti's coloured glass for over sixty years: it can be defined as 'Moretti red' for its recognizability and brilliance. The exhibition brings together a selection of objects, made with different techniques over time, which enhance this shade of the Murano glass tradition.
