2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Vincenzo Zanetti: the Abbot from Murano who played such a vital role in the rebirth of Murano glass after the fall of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.

In this lecture, Marco Toso Borella, glass master and historian of Murano, will retrace Abbot Zanetti's story and recount the importance of his work in rebuilding the identity of the island of Murano.
