Hotel Gabrielli Venezia, Starhotels Collezione, celebrates glass as a defining element of the city and a recurring thread throughout its history. The hotel houses around 700 nineteenth-century Murano glass chandeliers and wall sconces, restored by renowned historic glassmakers such as Archimede Seguso, as well as “The Beauty of Utility” exhibition, featuring works by the 10 finalists of the fourth edition of the biennial La Grande Bellezza Award. Together, they create an evocative dialogue between hospitality, contemporary art, tradition and Italian craftsmanship.
