It is a true "retrospective" that Sergio Asti, Milanese architect and leading figure in 20th-century Italian design, presents of his love – "tension, hypersensitivity," as Alessandro Mendini puts it, for an extraordinary material: glass. The exhibition explores the collaboration between Asti and the Nason Moretti glassworks of Murano, an encounter that in the 1980s gave birth to objects of extraordinary technical elegance. At the Nason Moretti company museum in Murano, a selection of glass pieces, drawings, and archival materials offers a unique perspective on the dialogue between designer and manufacturer.
