Unadorned, fleshy textile bulges spill out of mirrored, corseted structural bottlenecks. Slowly decaying plants in glass lungs are a visual and olfactory reminder of the transience of life, the interdependency of all living things and of what we need to do to be able to keep breathing. The piece consists of multiple organs, has the makings of a body-shrine, and the symmetry of revered icons yet shows clearly the permanence of change.
