Seven Years of Watermelon Sugar talks about love and loss and how they can be felt only one day at a time. There are no shortcuts; some things can only be faced and cherished one day at a time. The amount of time – seven years – indicated in the title is a humorous play on the belief that by breaking a mirror, seven years of unhappy love will follow.

Andra Jõgis (n. Estonia, 1989) is a material-based artist and educator. With a focus on narrative themes, she explores the everyday aspects of life, aiming to reveal the extraordinary concealed within the mundane. Her creations have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, both in Estonia and internationally. Currently, Jõgis is working as the Head of the Glass Department at the Estonian Academy of Arts, where she also obtained her master's degree.
