The craftsman plays the main character of this tender tale. In wooden clogs he steps onto the stage, but nothing here is the same. The fragile glass at his feet, carries a new and broadened span of association to the idea of his existence.
With this work the artist welcomes new perspectives on craftsmanship.
Sally Santana (Denmark, 1997) is a young Danish artist. Her deep compassion and understanding of great craftsmanship is always
present in her works. With a broad material understanding, she attentively chooses the components present in her practice. As a
trained glassblower she sees it as one of her duties, to participate and challenge this long tradition.
