The "Rosetta Prize", in its third edition, was established by the Committee for the Safeguarding of the Art of Venetian Glass Beads following the inscription of the "Art of the Glass Bead" Element in the Representative List of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, obtained in December 2020 thanks to the joint candidacy Italy-France path, conducted by our CPVV Committee and the "Association des Perliers d'Art de France".

The "Rosetta" award takes its name from the murrino glass cane used for one of the most ancient glass beads. Since 2021, its first edition, it is awarded every year to one or more personalities who have distinguished themselves in the promotion, dissemination or transmission of the Art of the Glass Bead in every cultural context.
