Lacrimarium is a series of interlocking glass sculptures replicating four-part slip casting moulds of tear bottles (lacrimaria), seen as containers of grief and acts of reparation. The work explores tears as materials of repair, paralleling the body’s healing through crying with the artist’s ritual of transforming deep emotions into glass.
The glass contrasts polished façades with unfinished surfaces, symbolising ongoing inner processes.
