Made from glass salvaged from a 19th-century NYC landfill, Love Counts blends small gestures and artifacts into a 3D watercolour sculpture, where glass striations and the Knit 1, Purl 2 pattern symbolise how every action contributes to something greater.
Resurrect Studio is Nancy Wu and Jean Davis (USA ’65 ’69), a Brooklyn-based duo who unearth glass from a century-old NYC landfill. Handpicked and carried into daylight, these fragments—drifting back to sand—bear the marks of tide and time. Their work evokes renewal, transcendence, and the quiet hope of rising.
