The Peggy Guggenheim Collection celebrates American sculptor Claire Falkenstein, renowned for her visionary use of glass and iron. In 1961, Guggenheim commissioned her to design a gate for her Venetian home: a dynamic web of iron embedded with Murano glass, symbolizing her love for Venice and Falkenstein’s bold technique. Daily presentations during the week explore this work. Participation is free with the purchase of a museum ticket.
