Presentations on Egidio Costantini and the Twenty-Three Sculptures Based on Picasso’s Drawings

Event organised by Collezione Peggy Guggenheim

From November 14, 2026, through March 29, 2027, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents Fucina degli Angeli: Peggy Guggenheim and 20th-Century Artistic Glass, a temporary exhibition that sheds light on a groundbreaking chapter in Murano glassmaking initiated by Egidio Costantini in the 1950s. Peggy Guggenheim played a decisive role in Costantini’s project, contributing to its international expansion. On the occasion of The Venice Glass Week 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to attend a brief presentation exploring the story of the Fucina degli Angeli. Participation is free with museum admission.
