Glass sculptures that drip, melt, and transform into the unknown. Each piece captures a moment of tension between the unraveling of identity and the birth of something new. Vessels for inner and global crises, they exist in flux, decomposing, mutating, collapsing. Ruin or renewal? The answer shifts, like the glass itself.
Pia (1992) is an experimental Argentine artist based in Barcelona and part of the queer community. Her work centres on flameworking in blown glass, exploring dreamlike, alternate realities. Through innovative techniques and a multidisciplinary approach, Pia challenges conventions and offers deep reflections on identity, fragility, and diversity.
