On the occasion of The Venice Glass Week, for the third consecutive year Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia will propose a conference dedicated to one of the oldest and significant glass productions, that of beads.
After the past conferences "The history of glass beads" and "The collections of beads of Italian museums", this year the protagonists will be the collections of beads from international museums, presented to the public by scholars and curators from prestigious institutions of different countries of the world.
A unique opportunity to discover how these little masterpieces have accompanied human history since ancient times and to investigate many aspects of their production.
