Orsoni. The Mosaic of Tradition

The Orsoni Glass Furnace, the last remaining in Venice where artisans still work at an open flame, will open its doors and take us on a voyage of discovery, into the world of tradition established at the origins of the Lagoon City.
The guided tour will introduce us to the ancient art of mosaics. We will be able to watch the skilled hands of artisans at work, and we will be led through the various phases of working materials, such as gold and enamel, which occur before the actual creation of mosaic tiles. Our voyage will come to an end at the extraordinary 'Library of Colour', unique in all the world for its ideation, the form it takes, and for the architecture that houses it.
