Glass artworks. The Peggy Guggenheim Collection masterpieces

Event organised by Collezione Peggy Guggehneim

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection takes part in The Italian Glass Weeks, offering visitors a free, 20-minute talk on the glass works of art in the museum.
Visitors will get a chance to discover the glass works of art on view at Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, from Claire Falkenstein’s gate, which greets visitors with its combination of iron and colored glass, to Egidio Costantini’s 23 sculptures inspired by drawings by Pablo Picasso. Also included are lesser known but equally striking works, such as Jean-Michel Othoniel’s "Les Amants suspendus," or the sculpture by Japanese architect, Mikuni Omura, on view in the garden.

Event Dates

From Sunday 18 September to Sunday 25 September
