The NARRATRAME "From Beads to Beads" project aims to combine the search for new identities inspired by glass and handmade cotton paper in jewelry. It stems from the collaboration between Effe Due Murano, a company that has been making blown glass according to the Murano tradition since 1969, and NARRATRAME. Silvia Pichi and Fernando Masone create the NARRATRAME Vezzi (necklaces) as an experience gained in the crafts practice of handmade loom cotton paper to compose new languages in contemporary jewelry design. In their atelier in Venice, the layering of paper with fabric, dyes and mixed techniques create microcosms they call Beads. Effe Due and NARRATRAME meet to tell a story in balance between material and form, together with glass and paper.
