The exhibition, devoted to the 'murrine', brings together a rich selection of glass objects made in Murano by the company Malvino Pavanello and sons active between the 1959 and the 1990 of the last Century and coming from private collections. The aim is to enhance a creative experience that represents an example of great modernity in the use of murrine both for the color combinations and for the choice of decorations. Abstract designs such as spirals or concentric circles or others inspired by nature, such as flowers, ears of wheat and blades of grass, bring to glass with a fresh interpretation a technique – that of murrina – which had experienced its rebirth in Murano in the mid-19th century also at the hands of an extraordinary technician Vincenzo Moretti, Malvino's grandfather.
