Murano Honey Garden - Goti de Fornasa

Event organised by Judi Harvest, Silvia Sandini, Elvilino Zangrandi

This is the place for designers and artists to experience the furnace and the world of glass craftsmanship . The history of Murano Glass has its roots in the daily life of the ancient glass masters. The so called “Goti de Fornasa” (“furnace glasses” in Venetian) were in fact created and used by masters to drink from during their hard work in the furnace. “Goti” were also a way for students to practice and improve their skills.
