The Shape of Breath is a site-specific installation conceived by curator Monika Turczyńska for A Space Gallery in Venice as part of the evolving curatorial project Minoria, which explores how form emerges from states of suspension, becoming and uncertainty. The exhibition reflects on the tension between form and process, fragility and structure, memory and disappearance. Approaching glass as frozen breath, it evokes the material trace of labour, time and cultural continuity, while drawing attention to the fragile conditions that allow glassmaking traditions to endure and to the responsibility of sustaining embodied knowledge in the face of economic pressure and loss. The exhibition features selected artworks by Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski.
