The work interprets the complexity of nature and its constant evolution. The rounded form is overlaid with organic reliefs that define its aesthetic, creating a dynamic tension between light and matter. Michela Cattai’s approach is marked by a continuous exploration of material and the expressive potential of glass, placing her research within a contemporary context without abandoning the artisanal roots of Murano.

Michela Cattai (Italy, 1965) founded the Art+Design Gallery in Milan in 1991. Her study of glass, art, and historical design led her
to an independent path of experimentation, resulting in her own collections, exhibited at international fairs such as DESIGN MIAMI,
Salon Art+Design NY, and PAD London. In 2019, she was appointed Art Director at Venini, before dedicating herself to her practice as an independent artist in 2023.
