Artificial Landscape explores how human intervention transforms and merges with nature, forming new hybrid environments. Through geometric glass forms altered by natural colour shifts during the kiln process, the work reflects a contemporary relationship between nature and artificiality, inviting viewers to reconsider the modern landscape.
Meixuan Li (China, 1998) is a multimedia artist working across glass, sculpture, installation, and video. Informed by Eastern philosophy and contemporary glass practices, her work examines the interplay between nature, human presence, and material transformation. She has presented at the Glass Art Society (GAS) conference, exhibited internationally in the United States, the Czech Republic, Japan, and China, and her work will be featured in New Glass Review 45.
