The soul of the object, or the object of the soul. Only the boundary line – the contour of the work and its material density – separates it from the surrounding air and defines it as a distinct entity. This glass sculpture depicts a fly that seeks to become an invisible part of its environment. Rather than existing as a passive object to be observed, it assumes the role of observer, quietly watching from within its transparent form. The piece explores the delicate threshold between presence and absence, between being
seen and seeing.
