In the heart of Venice, Mar Bermejo brings glass back to the water. Her installation in the Galleria of Piazza San Marco is now presented on three mirrored pedestals, evoking the reflections and calm of the city’s flooded squares as they resurface. On each pedestal, a delicate blown-glass vase holds a floral arrangement, creating a dialogue between past and present, and celebrating memory, beauty, and shared history.
Mar Bermejo Aldeguer (Spain, 1990) architect by training and artist by instinct, was born by the sea andraised among fire and glass
in her family’s workshop. Founder of La Bermeja and co-creator of Coolook, she fuses craftsmanship, nature, and design into soulful
creations. Each piece tells a story – of origin, emotion, and the beauty of imperfection.
