Manon Hillereau. Bathed In Light

Event organised by Manon Hillereau

Bathed in Light is an imagined scene that explores the essence of what makes us human in our most raw and vulnerable state. In this space, the remains of bones and flesh are transformed into containers of light, where tenderness, vitality and hardness embrace and coexist.

Manon Hillereau (France, 1996) is an emerging artist from France.
With her diverse experiences in glassmaking, she creates glass sculptures that explore themes primarily centered around the female
body and identity. Her work tells stories about societal taboos, addressing topics such as intimacy and vulnerability. Through her
practice, she aims to spark conversations, giving space to subjects that are often overlooked or silenced.
