On the occasion of “The Venice Glass Week", the Glass Study Centre of the Giorgio Cini Foundation presents a selection of unpublished works by Marcela Cernadas.
Among the works on display are some drawings and 'silk white' glass plates, characterized by glazes and transparencies, a stylistic note typical of the Argentine artist. The creations conceived for the event also evoke the pages of Borges' work, Il libro di sabbia, and put themselves in dialogue with the newly restored Centre, a shrine of drawings and precious documents.
