The Found Specimen is an installation that extends from a shelf to the wall itself. The installation consists of twelve blown spheres, set and arranged side by side on the shelf, then continuing onto the wall with flat blown pieces. The pieces are arranged organically to connect to the geological transitions that happen in nature. The installation focuses on how minerals change shape, form, and appearance due to the elemental shift. The Found Specimen highlights changes and the transitional moments in life related to time and pressure.
