Following the success of the 2021 edition, Palazzo Mocenigo will once again host a two-day conference dedicated to beads, their history and production. This year, in particular, the curators of important national museum institutions will present the bead collections of their museums to the public. Particular attention will be paid to the archaeological museums of the Triveneto (including Adria, Rovigo and Cividale del Friuli). Indeed, museums hold many masterpieces in their collections, in many cases unpublished, that have the potential to contribute significantly to the knowledge of this specific field of study.
