Anna Jožová. Lava

Event organised by Anna Jožová (UMPRUM)

The existential threat of a sad fate looming over our seemingly untouchable civilisation through the global change caused by us humans. The protruding, red vessels represent flowing lava. They indicate the wild nature of our planet, which is neglected by us humans.

Anna Jožová (Czech Republic, 1996) is an artist who works with glass on the border between free art and design. She has presented her work in many collective exhibitions, fairs and art projects, e.g. at Salone del Mobile, Venice Design Biennale, London Design Fair etc. She has been consistently working on her own glass art and design, combining different, seemingly disparate materials to create new unique objects.
