Objects matter not because they are rare or useful but because they hold culture under pressure; against speed, simplification and global sameness. Pavilion brings contemporary art, design, tech, sound, taste and brands from Savo Lakeland, Finland. Here two waters meet, the Venetian lagoon and the Finnish lakes. Lähde frames the tension between North and South, clarity and warmth, control and joy, craft and contemporary culture.

Created in collaboration with Museo del Vetro and opens a dialogue between the history and the future of glass. The programme extends beyond the exhibition into a series of events, including discussion panels where experts from different fields come together to explore material, culture and meaning from multiple perspectives.
