The Murrina Workshop begins with a warm welcome in our showroom, followed by a guided visit to the grinding workshop ("moleria"). During the visit, we explain how the various machines used in glass fusing and grinding processes work and what they are used for.
Next, participants are invited to choose the murrine (glass mosaics) they would like to use to create their own Murano glass dish. The dish will measure approximately 8 cm and can be round, square, or oval in shape.
At the end of the workshop, Riccardo will take care of the final processing steps over the following days to complete each piece. Once finished, the dish will be either delivered or shipped to the participant.
