The vine in our environment has always been present since antiquity, and on the island of Murano since the Middle Ages... It also represents the metamorphosis and regeneration of all living things... The vine and the branch are the links from earth to heaven, thus the elevation of the idea and the spirit; the grape, the fruit, the elixir of life and immortality... The ecstasy and the fullness of life, I find it daily in the alchemy linked to glass, from the fusion of the material to the realization of pieces made to improve and embellish our immediate environment.
