Interlacing

Event organised by Ariel Aravot

Aravot explores glassblowing as a means to research the triangle of existential components - “I", “others" and “world". Interlacing is a metaphor for the artist’s relations with ‘others’, within societal, cultural, environmental and historic networks. The folding of the glass body expresses sudden and unexpected changes in the interlacing relationships.

Ariel Aravot (n. Israele 1994), is an Israeli born glass artist specializes in glassblowing. Earned an MFA in Glass, Rhode Island School of Design, 2023 and a BFA, Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, Jerusalem, 2020.
