Imposter Vessel

Event organised by Rezzan Hasoglu

The visuals are generated by an AI tool, DALL-E with keywords "hand blown glass, vase, white, sand, contemporary, on a plinth at an exhibition". It questions history of glass, formal and tacit knowledge, design processes, talent, and emerging technologies, the gap between digital creation and future of creative industries.

Rezzan Hasoglu (n. Turchia, 1989) is an industrial and visual designer. Her design practice, Studio Sahil explores glass production techniques by infusing natural sands from different origins in London. Her work translates cultural nuances into tangible objects through exploring processes and materials. Rezzan is finalist winner of Lexus Design Award 2019 and gave a TEDx talk in Istanbul. She exhibited in LDF, Milan Design Week, Decorex and Triennale Museum.
